Australia - A Rainy Day in Sydney

I wanted to publish this post a very long while age, but the words were not enough. I wasn't happy with the copy whatsoever. I remember writing and re-writing it several times, but never pushed the Publish button because I was completely unhappy of how it turned out. 

First of all, it happened in 2015. It was mostly cold and rainy, we were in a hurry, as we had only few hours to spend in the Sydney CBD before taking off. I said at the time that we visited the port, which is not entirely the truth, but little I knew about Sydney then. I can sure say that we couldn't feel the pusle of this vibrant city in such a short while. 

I will let the images do the talking, as I'm still finding them remarkable, and share some more about Sydney later. It's easy to recognise the Opera House, the Darling Harbour, the Bridge, the Queen Victoria Building. 

I think we didn't miss any important landmarks at the time, but the weather was extremelly  capricious and I remember being frustrated of not seeing enough, even our feet hurt at night. 

Atlantic City

Is strange how things can change from one day to another, how life starts over and over, how a storm (or a hurricane) can destroy everything in only few hours. I know it seems like I'm talking about life, but actually I'm talking about the huge disaster from the East coast of the United States.

Is (oh, already) one month since we came back from our short holiday in America, when we spent a couple of days in New York and some others in Atlantic City. The only thing we did it was to relax, unlikely other holidays (when we usually drive and walk all day long).

It was the ocean, the long and beautiful wood boardwalk, the ultra-kitsch hotels, the noise from the gambling machines... 

And it was, of course, the Victoria's Secret's shop from Caesar's Palace, where I splurge all my holiday shopping budget for the next year. No regrets, no, no, no. Money can't bring happiness, the perfect fit bra, yes. Especially when you're double D cup.

More of Mara

Mara was Saturday in a posing mode, so Bogdan took her for a short photo shooting in Carol Park, while Runa was doing her skating business and I was playing with Radu at the children's playground.

With no connection to the pictures, I need to tell everybody that today, early in the morning, she read for me half page from a stories book, loud and clear. I am so happy she likes to read, she even threatened Radu that she will stop reading for him if he's not listening carefully enough!

The flower in her hair is handmade by the Accessories Fairy, she is so full of creativity and imagination!
