Kindergarten Party - Mara

Because next year she will be in school at this time, this was the last Kindergarten Christmas show for our little Mara.
I didn't realize before seeing her on the stage how many roles, songs and dances she learned in the last couple of months.
Of course not, she knows how to keep a secret!
So, she played the leading role in Cinderella, my beautiful daughter!
She did for almost two hours what she loves most: dancing, singing, acting. Again and again.

I'm sure now she needs more attention and more training in all artistic matters, not only because I'm proud of her, being her mother, but I can see how dedicated and passionate she is. Her memory is way much better than Runa's or mine and she remembers the words and the melody of songs she listen on the radio!
Ho, ho, ho! I can't wait to see her at Romanian Opera on Christmas Eve!

Kindergarten Party - Radu

Every winter, since our kids attend the kindergarten, we love to watch their Christmas show!
Here is Radu's appearance, he was a snowflake in the beginning, then he danced and recited in English and Spanish! I'm so very proud of him!!!

After the show, he offered flowers to his teachers, they both were terribly amused and impressed of his gesture. Of course. He is only three and he acts like a man.

Last Saturday of October

First, a little random thought from today.
So, today, while we were heading to a children indoor playground, to celebrate one of Mara's kinder-garden colleagues, little bit far from our home, I started to discuss with Bogdan some things. Things had nothing to do with children. Speaking normally, not shouting, not yelling, in a very normal way, but unusual for me when not alone in the car. Then, I realized: our two small children on the back seats of the car were quiet. No screaming, no fighting, no toy cars flying from one to another, no pushing, no slapping.
We both noticed the moment and enjoyed it while it lasted, having our car conversation so much different and beautiful than usual, with the music as background, and two nice children with all the hair on their heads at arrival.

And now, about yesterday.
In the morning, we had to go to kinder-garden to attend Radu's evaluation. We thought is gonna be with Radu, as usually was with Mara, so we all dressed-up (me, Bogdan and Radu), too early in the morning, and hurried up to be there in time. On the way, I was thinking to call the teacher and ask some details. So, I found up it will be just a report, not an open lesson! We turned back the car, left the boys home to watch together the Formula 1 race in India, and went by myself to see how good description they have about my son. He's so good that he will be moved in a higher level group tomorrow! This is very good news, congratulations for Radu, please!

It was such a beautiful day of mid autumn, we felt like going out in the park for a little bit, despite Mara's special request of going to some Halloween party at the Mall. Well... finally we ended up to the Mall, don't blame me, just to play up some mummy's games and eat some candy floss for free. Then, we left the children home to watch The Lion King and went to see Margin Call, a movie with Kevin Spacey and Demi Moore.

I really hope to have such a beautiful weekend next week either, so we can go and take pictures again in the park, maybe in The Botanical Garden! The colors are awesome, and Bogdan is such a talented and loving photographer.

Leman's and Emel's Party

Happy birthday, sweet girl! Leman is (of course) one of our god-daughters, but she is also our niece. She turned 3 on Sunday and we happily celebrated her in Mogosoaia, together with some good friends.

To not upset her bigger sister, Emel, with two birthday parties for Leman, their parents used Emel's second name, Alexandra, to celebrate again, just because we couldn't attend the Saturday party. Check here why. So, everybody was just happy.

We all wished Happy Name Day for Emel Alexandra and a Very Happy Twice Celebrated Birthday for Leman!

Runa was again the kindergarten's leader, she invented plenty of games and entertained all the kids. She kept them safe and sound the whole day, caressed them when tired or just in need of a hug, took care even of her own sis and bro. And you know this is more difficult than it looks.

Happy Birthday, Leman!
Happy Name Day, Emel!
Love you with all my heart!
