No, it's not when I wake up at 6:30 a.m. to take the kids to school and kindergarten. It's not when I run all day, when I wash the windows, when I pick up the kids again, when they shout at me and I shout at them, when I drive hours and hours, when I give them dinner or when I put them to bed. It's not when I bring home the groceries and it's certainly not when I help the kids with their homework.
It's that moment when I try to fall asleep and your arm is not around me, holding me tight, surrounding me with love and tenderness. It's the kiss before I start to dream that I miss mostly.
