Mara's Graduation Show {Clown Module}

Few months ago, Mara started an acting course, together with one of her classmates. She had her first graduation show two weeks ago, while we were in U.S.A. But, lucky us! she performed again Sunday morning, in a charity show.

Her stage name was "Colorfully", in an approximate translation ("Colorilă", in Romanian) and she didn't have to wear a clown costume, but a princess dress, more in her usual style.

What I loved most about the show was that Mara (and the other kids, of course) learned how to control her body language. And even more, she is not afraid to show off her funny faces. Large gestures, beautiful mimic, impeccable diction. 

Her beautiful acting teacher, Iana, did a wonderful job! Thank you!

The show was really great, her body language was so different of what I use to know!

 

 

White Party and Chinese Circus

Time goes by so fast when you are in holiday with three children! Make them eat, wash them, dress and undress, washing the swimming suits, poop accidents, don't forget the sun protection, bring some ice cream, pee accidents, everything is happening so quickly! 

And when the evening comes, you get ready for the party! We already attended two beautiful shows: the White Party, with a spectacular ice sculpture live and some jet ski demonstration, and the Beijing Acrobats, who delighted us with an amazingly (and unexpected) good circus show.

It started from the restaurant, with ice sculptures all around the entrance way.

 

We all wore white to fit the theme :).

 

The girl were super-trendy with their fluo sandals!

Radu started to heat the dance floor before the show! 

We stopped to admire the setup one more time, then we went to bed...

 

Last night we totally admired the Beijing Acrobats, a beautiful show performed with so much passion by a big team of well prepared young Chinese.

 

The rest of the time, you know: swimming, sun, sea, all the good things! I will come back soon with new pictures from the Mediterranean shore.

Mara at the Romanian Opera

On Christmas Eve's morning Mara performed in the Opera Roman's children show, The Dolls' Shop. She is so passionate about everything related with ballet, no matter what, she worked in the last few month exclusively for those 4 minutes of dance on the stage. 

Her biggest threaten is to hear: "You won't go to ballet today!". 

Mara is just a little slave in the sea of small ballerinas, but she is so proud of her performance, and we are, too.
